Sunday Funday!

IF I'M NOT PERFORMING I GET VERY RESTLESS Soooo....I make things.
 I've been working on this project for several months now. These feather lampshades are gorgeous and I fell in love with the first one I saw about a year ago. I priced them and said "OK I guess I won't be buying one" so I decided to DIY one, I got this paper lampshade from IKEA and the feathers online there are 100's and I mean 100's of feathers individually stuck on there...(patience required = a LOT) but it was worth every painstaking minute spent sticking and sneezing, I finally finished it today and this is now a little piece of art in my bedroom and a symbol of my persistence, although my son says "It looks like a chicken's butt" to which I replied...."How would you know?" ;-)
